Curriculum - Bristol and the Slave Trade

Our topic for the next two terms will focus on Bristol's part during the Slave Trade (History) and Fair Trade (Geography). We will focus on the geographical location that the Transatlantic trade route took and Bristol's role in the slave trade and the eventual abolition of slavery. We will link this to the growth of the British Empire at the time, the legacy that was left and how fair trade came into prominence.
