Reading:

If your child is on a phonically decodable or benchmarking book, please listen to them read 3 x weekly and write this into their reading record. If your child is a free reader, please discuss their book choices with them and listen to them occasionally. Either yourself or they can write into their reading record.

3 x a chapter would count towards the vending machine. Books need to be kept in bags everyday to allow us to listen to readers. Books are taken in on a Thursday, to read comments and be exchanged for new ones.

Timestable Rock Stars:

All children have an account and the tables are set to those they are learning for their year group.

Spellzone:

All children sit a test and this is used to set the correct spellings for each child.

Other homework:

Occasionally other homework might be set if it is relevant to the children's learning and is of benefit to them and their education. All homework is posted onto google classroom on a Friday.
