SATS REVISION GUIDES

Below are the SATs revision guides for Maths and English for Terms 4 and 5. It indicated what the children will be covering in class. However, the children are able to dip in and out of the topics depending on how confident they feel e.g. In class, we are covering standard English in week 3, but if the children feel like they need revision before then, they are able to.

How much time should you devote to revision?

Encourage your children to do about an hour each day in what ever way they feel comfortable. E.g. 10 mins of maths and English before school, 20 mins when they return home and 30 mins after dinner. Some children may prefer to do the whole hour after school; others short burst learning and often.
